Consolidated Appropriations Act¶

Ensuring Cybersecurity of Medical Devices of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023 requires manufacturers of medical devices to submit to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) a plan on post market cybersecurity vulnerabilities and exploits, to provide reassurance that the device is secure, supply patches and updates for cybersecurity threats, and to comply with the requirements set by the FDA through regulation.
